    • 11. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
      • No - the commercial dishwasher was in disrepair and not in use. Staff advised to use the 2-compartment sink method for all manual washing, rinsing, and sanitizing of utensils and glassware (with detergent and chlorine bleach sanitizer available - test strips provided).Staff had indicated the owner was planning to install a new commercial dishwasher shortly.Note: the AHS 2-compartment sink procedure sticker was provided to staff for instructions to be posted at the dishwashing area (as an interim measure until a new commercial dishwasher is installed).
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • No - the annual updated Food Handling Permit must be posted in a conspicuous location, so as to be visible to the public inside the food premises.Note: the expired 2024 copy was posted on the side wall in the staff area at the front workspace area (the 2025 copy must be posted forthwith, on display for public viewing).
