    • 20(1) A food establishment must have washroom facilities for staff and washroom facilities for the public available in a convenient location, unless exempted by the Administrator.
      • Table and chairs has been added. The establishment has been permitted as take-out only as there is no public washroom. Remove the table and chairs. A bench can be added to allow customers to wait for their orders. Alternatively, a public washroom can be added.
    • 28(2) If an operator is absent from a food establishment, the operator must ensure that a member of the personnel who has successfully completed a food hygiene training program is present.
      • No staff present who hold valid food hygiene training. Have enough staff trained so that at least one employee is present per shift who holds the training certificate.
    • 29(1) An operator of a food establishment must have a maintenance, cleaning and sanitation program in place to control the risk of contamination of food, equipment, utensils and other facilities in the food establishment.
      • Employee is not aware how to properly manually wash dishes in the 3-compartment sink. No sanitizing step is taking place. Employee educated on proper manual dishwashing.

    • 19(2)(b) A food establishment must provide all of the following in accordance with applicable legislation or as considered acceptable by the Administrator: (b) adequately designed and appropriately located hand-washing facilities;
      • Paper towel dispenser required at handwash sink Handwash sink blocked with dishes. This sink is for handwashing only and must be accessible at all times. Handwash sink leaking - have plumbing repaired

    • 29(2)(a) A maintenance, cleaning and sanitation program must include procedures to ensure that all of the following are done: (a) the food establishment and equipment are maintained, cleaned and sanitized;
      • Large number of cleaning cloths left on counter tops. If reusing cloths, they must be submerged in sanitizing solution when not being used.
