    • C7.2 - Is there adequate and appropriate indoor and outdoor space, materials, and equipment?
      • Observation(s): - The rope/netting used for climbing on the outside play equipment requires repair. *Resolved during the inspection.
      • C7.2E - Ensure that all indoor and outdoor materials and equipment are safely constructed, free from hazards, in good repair and suitable for the age and development of the children; 16(4)(a)(b)
    • C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?
      • Observation(s): - Hazardous cleaning products stored underneath the bathroom sink are accessible to the children in care. *Resolved during the inspection. - Medicated diaper cream stored in a bin is accessible to the children in care. *Resolved during the inspection. - A bottle on a shelf containing prescription medication is not stored safely as the child-proof lid is not tightly secured. *Resolved during the inspection. - Some moveable objects used for play (i.e. tires and buckets) are placed inside fall zone areas (i.e. underneath a swinging apparatus on the climber). *Resolved during the inspection.

      • Observation(s): At the time of the inspection the Licensee was awaiting a final building inspection, which must be received before Licensing can issue a licence.

      • Observation(s): The installation of a fire door that separates the current facility on the main level of the building from the upper floor was in progress. Confirmation that the building inspector has approved the renovations to the facility has not yet been received. The Licensee must contact the fire department of West Kelowna directly to arrange for a fire inspection for a facility on First Nations Land.
      • CI1.1C - A licence cannot be issued until the facility complies with all enactments of British Columbia and local governments; Act 20( 1 )( 2 )
