    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • Apr 14, 2026: The holes had been filled with something that is not easily cleanable (foam?). Please repair and ensure it is easily cleanable and non absorbent. Sept 4, 2026: Make it easily cleanable and non absorbent The floor of the walk-in cooler was found to have holes, which were stuffed with bags. Ensure all floors are in good repair, smooth, and easily cleanable. Please close/repair the holes in the floor.

      • -At the back dishwash sink, tap handle to control the valve to divert water from the sink is broken so the dishwashing sinks in the “chill” side are being used with that Quat dispenser. The part is on order.Please repair as soon as you get the part end ensure the quat dispenser dispenses 200ppm Quat when it is fixed.

      • No sanitizer preparedEnsure an approved sanitizer is available when in operation.

    • 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • Staff belongings were observed stored directly above and uncovered food packaging in the storage area. Ensure all belongings are kept away from food packaging areas to prevent contamination. The operator removed the items from the area.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • One handwashing sink in the cake preparation area was found to be blocked by a large metal piece,and no soap was available at the time of inspection.Corrected onsite. The operator removed the obstruction and restocked the sink with soap.Ensure that this hand sink remains easily accessible, properly stocked with handwashing supplies, and is actively used by staff as required for maintaining proper hygiene.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Pest control monitoring conducted monthly.Several fruit flies were noted throughout the facility.Several fruit flies were observed during inspection. Suggestions to help further reduce the flies:-clean garbage and compost bins on a regular basis. -clean and sanitize all utensils and equipment.-clean nozzles/pumps of sugary liquids regularly-any wet towels are to be bagged up and laundered -wipe up spills immediately-use fly strips in areas away from food/food contact surfaces-clean drains on a frequent basis including mechanical dishwasher drains-Ensure any damaged structural areas are repaired

    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • -A grill brush located near the caking preparation area was found to be severely damaged, with bristles coming loose.One plastic spatula was also observed to be severely damaged/worn.Ensure all utensils are in good condition and well-maintained. Please discard/replace the tools.-The bottom unit door of the burger topping prep cooler is in disrepair and came off completely when opened. Ensure all equipment is kept in a good state of repair. Please repair the cooler door.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • A vegetable dicer was found on the kitchen counter in an unsanitary condition, with dried food debris present. Upon discussion with the operator, it was confirmed that the dicer had been left out overnight without being cleaned.Ensure all equipment is cleaned, sanitized and stored appropriately after use. The slicer was taken for cleaning and sanitizing.

      • Keep take out cutlery/utensils stored with the handle sticking up when stored upright.

    • 17. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this food facility (Critical)?
      • - It was observed that one of the staff members put used equipment (whisk used to stir the gravy) in the handwashing sink. Action taken:-Staff was advised to immediately move the whisk to the dishwashing area. -Education was provided that the handwashing sink must be solely used for handwashing purpose. Any used equipment must be taken back to dishwashing area.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • - The ventilation hood appeared dirty and greasy. -The ventilation servicing is due in December 2023.- Under the dishwashing sinks, in the cake decoration area, some tapings were observed to prevent water leakage. The staff indicated that, there used to be a leakage problem that was now being resolved by tapping the pipes.Action required:-Please get the servicing done and clean the exhaust canopy.- Please get the permanent repairs done underneath the dishwashing sink.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • - Broken knife was observed on the knife rack, in the area where food orders (such as burgers) are made. Action taken:-Staff was advised to discard the knife.-Staff was educated to discard all the equipment that were broken and in disrepair.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • - Overall, the general cleaning and sanitation was satisfactory.- There was dirt, debris and food leftovers observed under the cooler (the cooler, which is used to store toppings, nuts etc.).Action required:- Staff was advised to clean underneath area of the cooler as these food leftovers depositions could attract pests in the facility.
