Inspection summary

Domino's Pizza - Valleyview has been inspected 7 times by Interior Health Authority since August 15, 2018. The most recent inspection, on March 2, 2026, found no infractions.

The number of infractions per inspection has stayed roughly the same over time.

What these findings mean

Health authorities word their violations differently, so we group them by what they mean for food safety. Higher-risk findings are the ones inspectors treat as critical, because they can directly make someone sick.

  • PestsHigher risk

Signs of mice, rats, cockroaches or flies, or gaps and clutter that let them get in or hide. Pests carry bacteria and can contaminate food and surfaces, so evidence of activity is treated seriously and usually triggers a follow-up visit.

Recorded 2 times across 2 separate inspections, most recently on April 4, 2025. For example: 2 Are proper pest control measures in place on the premises?

  • Permits, records and postingLower risk

Operating permits, required signage, written procedures and logs. These findings are administrative: the documentation was missing or out of date at the time of inspection.

Recorded 2 times on March 25, 2024. For example: 3 Are written food handling procedures (Food Safety Plan) current and available on site?

  • Building, plumbing and upkeepLower risk

Floors, walls and ceilings must be smooth and clean, with working lighting, ventilation, plumbing, hot and cold water, and washrooms. These are rarely an immediate food-safety risk on their own, but persistent problems can lead to pest or sanitation issues.

Recorded 2 times across 2 separate inspections, most recently on April 18, 2023. For example: 2 Is the premises construction and layout unchanged and in accordance with approved plans?

  • Other findingsLower risk

Findings that do not fit the categories above, such as follow-ups that confirm an earlier violation was corrected, or requirements specific to this type of facility.

Recorded once on January 10, 2020. For example: 1 Does the facility have proper monitoring supplies?

On several occasions I have picked up pizza orders and have found the service to be friendly and courteous. The quality of the variety of pizzas ordered is good. My grandsons love Dominos pizza above any other pizzas that could be ordered. And if my grandsons are happy, then I am pleased. Recommend Dominos for good pizza at a reasonable price.

I ordered online for pickup. The two topping large was the price that they advertised. I drove to pick up the pizza and it was ready when I arrived. When I arrived home, the pizza was still hot and exactly as I ordered. The pizza was really good. What a surprise, great price, great pizza, and fast service. I will go back again.
