- 1) Used nail files, toe separators and callus scrubbers were found in a basket next to the reprocessing sink.2) Nail polish and stains were noted on toe separators in a drawer.1 to 2) Discard single use items after each client.

- Wax stains were noted on the large towel that was used to line the waxing table. The large towel was not being laundered after client's waxing service.Launder the large towel after each used or wax directly on the service table.

- 1) Large Foot File Scrubber for heels were unable to submerge into the container to disinfect. Provide a container that can completely submerge the large foot file scrubbers. 2) Staff stated that they added water to the PREempt RTU that was used to disinfect food tubs and other hard surfaces. Do not any water or other solution to PREempt RTU. RTU-= ready to use3) A bottle of PREempt CS20 was expired since February 7, 2024, and Flexi Clean Disinfectant was expired since 2023.Discard the expired PREempt CS20 and Flexi Clean Disinfectant.4) 70% alcohol was used to disinfect eyelash extension tweezers and and manicure and pedicure drill bits.Semi- critical items need to be disinfected in high level disinfectant such as PREempt CS20.5) Staff were not recording the testing of PREempt CS20. Unsure if the testing was done. Test and record PREempt CS20 daily.

- Small bottles of color glues (Dark brown, burgundy, light brown, pumpkin and golden brown) without an ingredient label were found in the waxing room and outside at the waxing chair. Do not used and discard products without ingredient label

- a) Reusable semi critical items were disinfected using Steri-Dent sterilizer not approved for disinfection of semi critical items.b) The Preempt CS20 available to disinfect tools expired on Feb 07,2024, PREempt RTU expired on 03/2025Corrective action:a) Stop using this sterilizer for disinfection. b) Obtain new bottles of PREempt CS20 and PREempt RTU within expiry date.-If keeping the disinfectant for more than 1 day, please also obtain test strips for monitoring the strength of the disinfectant and maintain a log book.-Please label the soak tray.
