      • - A used mascara brush was not being discarded after use. No extra supplies for mascara application were available during the inspection.Equipment must be discarded after use on one client if the manufacturer labels it as: single-use, not for reuse, do not reuse, disposable, discard after single-use, or do not use twice.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • Re-usable non-critical equipment (dermabrasion heads, dermaplaning razor, UV protection eyeglasses, etc.) were disinfected using vinegar.The operator was advised to acquire, at a minimum, a low-level disinfectant to disinfect non-critical re-usable equipment.
