- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- Operator did not bring a disinfectant for use on combs after clients. Used combs were being placed back in the container of clean combs. Please ensure dirty and clean equipment is stored separately and a proper disinfectant is on site and used whenever services are offered. A proper disinfectant for combs can be a low level disinfectant with a DIN such as barbicide. No clippers present today, but an appropriate clipper disinfectant such as Clippercide must be present if using clippers.
