      • Paper towels were missing from the hand washing sink at the time of inspection. It was corrected during the inspection.

      • It was observed that single-use spatulas used for dispensing wax was being re-used.Make sure that single use items are discarded after each use.

      • 1)Hair combs were not properly cleaned before being stored in disinfectant (barbicide).2)The Clippercide used for disinfecting metal hair clippers and implements was out of stock.Make sure facility has at least low -level disinfectant for disinfecting the non-critical equipment.Equipment must be cleaned with soap and water before disinfecting.Follow manufacturer's instructions for disinfectant use and contact time.

      • The wax warming equipment used in the facility was visibly dirty.Operator disposed off the dirty wax holding equipment during the time of inspection.

      • Cosmetic product (Vaseline) was being dispensed with fingers.Make sure that cosmetic products are handled properly and dispensed using single use equipment to avoid cross contamination.
