      • Preschool room 2:Shaving cream containers were observed stored in an unlocked cabinet beneath the handwashing sink.Chemicals must be stored in a locked cabinet at all times to prevent access by children.
    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • Out of school care washroom:A soap dispenser at the handwashing sink was found to be empty.The dispenser was immediately refilled with soap during the inspection.

      • Baby room, OSC room and toddler room 2:The hot water temperature measured at sinks accessible to children was >51C.Reduce the hot water temperature to 49C or less.

      • A broken step stool was observed in the shared/common washroom. The item was immediately removed and replaced during the inspection.

      • Step stools noted to be stored in the children hand sink. Ensure step stools are stored safely, and hand sink is always available for hand washing.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • * Bin with what appears to be sensory play observed to be in disrepair. This was corrected onsite.* Ensure records for cleaning are kept up to date. Several rooms were noted to not have records up to date (with dates filled out for previous weeks). Recommend for records to be kept onsite.* Several Kleenex boxes (meant for sensory play) noted to be stored on diapering area. Ensure this practice is avoided for child safety (protect from cross contamination). This was corrected onsite.*Washroom stall wall was noted to have brown stains on the wall. This was corrected during the visit.

Duct tape used on the play kitchen in Infant room was damaged and could not be cleaned/disinfected properly. Please address (the play kitchen was not damaged).
