It’s a nice addition to the ski hill, and who doesn’t want a big bowl of hot ramen after being out in the cold? There are 2 sides to the restaurant. One side is the ramen bar, and the other is Asian fusion. However, you cannot get ramen on the patio. This is something we didn’t know before going. We made a reservation for the patio but wanted ramen, so we were inside. The service was only okay. The server came to the table and asked if we were ready to order without asking how things were or if we had any questions. After the food was dropped off, no one checked on us until we were done. The food came out fast, but it wasn’t super hot. I don’t want to burn myself on the soup, but I do want it to be hot. Also, there is only half an egg in the ramen. For me, the egg is one of the best parts, and I think for the price we could get a whole egg. The pork was the highlight of the ramen, and the broth was decent. Overall, I was hoping for more, so I was a little dissatisfied.

The Fat Marmot is a must-visit at Big White! Such a great atmosphere, amazing food/drinks, and one of the best patio experiences on a sunny ski day. I highly recommend booking a fire table on the patio it makes for the perfect après setup. The Korean chicken and ramen were both outstanding. Great food, great vibe, and a spot we’ll definitely return to!

The flavour was on point it was delicious but the soup came out like warm. If they make it piping hot, it would be perfect. They should also add gyoza or some other small appies on the menu. We’ll be back but hoping it’s the soup is hot next time.
