- 1. There was not enough disinfectant in a soaking container for disinfecting reusable tools. Tools could not be fully submerged in the disinfectant. The container was not big enough for soaking foot paddles. - Tools must be fully immersed in high level disinfectant after cleaning. Add more disinfectant in the soaking container. - Obtain a larger container for disinfecting foot paddles. 2. Alcohol is being used for disinfecting waxing tools. - Use only disinfectants that have DIN# and instructions for use. 3. Bleach is being used for disinfecting pedicure basins. No cleaning of the basin is being done first. - Obtain a cleaner and a disinfectant that have DIN# and instructions for use. 4.
