      • Observation(s): At the time of inspection, chlorine test strips were not available in the facility. • Acquire chlorine test strips. Check chlorine (sodium hypochlorite) concentrations in front-of-house dishwasher regularly/daily and record sanitizer concentrations.
      • F2.1A Sanitizer test strips must be available for each chemical sanitizer used at the premises.
    • F2.3 Are food contact surfaces, utensils and equipment washed and sanitized in a manner that removes/prevents contamination?
      • Observation(s): During inspection, chlorine was measured at 0 ppm in the dishwasher in front-of-house area. Staff instructed to use kitchen dishwasher, or sink filled with sanitizer solution to ensure all glasses, dishware and cutlery were sanitized effectively, until dishwasher could be repaired. • Arrange for repair of the dishwasher. Measure with chlorine test strips to ensure dishwasher is sanitizing effectively. Some cloths were observed on counters. These cloths can grow pathogenic bacteria when not stored in sanitizer solution. • Ensure cloths are constantly stored in sanitizer solution, or use single-use paper towel with sanitizer spray bottle. Debris noted on hard-to-clean areas of deli slicer. • Ensure deli slicer is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each use. Consider using a cover on the deli slicer when not in use to protect it from contamination.

    A 100% gluten-free cafe that everyone can enjoy. Delicious pastries, meals, sausage rolls, bagels, waffles, muffins, eggs benny, cookies, grilled cheese… Other nearby restaurants would not guarantee a safely prepared meal for me. Thankfully someone recommended this wonderful cafe!

    What else can I say about this place that already has wonderful reviews? This is by far the best gluten-free place I have been to in Canada: amazing food, friendly, kind, accommodating staff, and a charming, cozy space with nice music and different places to sit with different levels of proximity/noise; it is perfect! They were super accommodating with my kids’ wishes. So kid-friendly too.

    This is the best gluten free bakery I have ever been to. So not only do they have one of the best scones I have ever had (jalapeno scone), but to make it gluten free and that good is unreal. Service was friendly, coffee is fantastic and we ordered a chai latte which was spiced perfectly with lots of flavour. These people know what they are doing. What a pleasant place tucked away in the cute town of Revelstoke. Highly recommend for anyone and especially anyone with celiac disease. Awesome.

    Latest bakery tour in Revelstoke. FLOURISH BAKERY, for sourdough everything, so many brownies, scones, pastries, muffins, sausage rolls and even baked potatoes 🥔 and all the usual bevies😋. This modern bakery takes a step back in time with a scene out of our parents living rooms from the 70's, comfy couches, velour high back chairs and sit up bars. Add this one to your list for the next time you're in Revelstoke 😁
