- Discussed with the manager the requirement for facility specific written procedures in case of accidental cuts and punctures.Template for reference would be provided with this e-mail.Facility can use the same template or modify it, as needed.
- 31. Are sinks accessible and used appropriately for the personal services provided?
- It was observed thar combs and brushes (non-critical items) were cleaned at the dual-purpose sink.The sink used for tool reprocessing must not be used for handwashing, or other purposes. If there is no other sink available, there must be written procedure available for sink cleaning and disinfection in between use.Staff confirmed to dedicate a sink for tool reprocessing.
