- The washroom door was directly opened to the food storage area.The washroom door was promptly closed.

- Dry meat debris was noted in the grooves of the meat grinder machine. Ensure that meat grinder is dismantled, cleaned and sanitized within 4 hours or between different animal species.The meat grinder was dismantled, cleaned and sanitized in a 100 ppm chlorine solution.Develop a written sanitation program to monitor the procedure how the meat grinder will be monitored for the 4 hour timeline and how the equipment will be dismantled, cleaned and sanitized.

- The hand soap in the staff washroom was in a big bottle which is difficult to dispense. Repair soap dispenser or equip hand sink with a pump soap to promote good hand hygiene practice.**OUTSTANDING (2023-08-14). The hand soap in the staff washroom was still not placed in proper soap dispenser. The paper towel dispenser in the staff washroom was not properly dispensing paper towels.**CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION (2023-08-14). The paper towel dispenser was jammed. The operator was able to fix the dispenser during the inspection. Please ensure to monitor the dispenser and have it operational at all times.

- There was a gap on the backdoor. This would allow the potential entry of pests and vermin into the facility. The inspector informed the operator that all openings to the outside, including doors and windows, must be tight-fitting to prevent potential pest infestation.**FIX THE GAP ON THE BACKDOOR.

- The Food Handling Permit was displayed; however, it was expired. Thus, the permit displayed was not valid. - The light fixture in the walk-in cooler was not shatterproof. The inspector informed the operator that all light fixtures be shatterproof or be equipped with a shatterproof cover to prevent contamination of food in case of breakage. **FIX THE LIGHT FIXTURE TO BE SHATTERPROOF OR BE EQUIPPED WITH A SHATTERPROOF COVER.

- Old meat debris noted in the grooves of the meat cutting machine. Ensure that meat cutter is properly cleaned and sanitized after use.**OUTSTANDING (2023-08-14). Old meat debris was still noted in the meat-cutting machine. The operator mentioned that the machine gets cleaned before being used for the next client. The inspector informed the operator that the machine must be cleaned after every use as microbial growth may occur in the machine while meat leftovers are in room temperature.

- Grease build-up noted on the shelving in the walk-in cooler. Please clean.**OUTSTANDING (2023-08-14). The shelving unit in the walk-in cooler was dusty, dirty, and had rust accumulation throughout the unit. The inspector informed the operator that the shelving unit must remain free of dust, dirt, and rust. Thus, the operator mentioned that the unit will be replaced by the end of the month. Please ensure to replace the unit no later than August 31, 2023.
