- -A high-level disinfectant is required for semi-critical re-usable esthetics tools such as facial extractors.-No test indicator strips were available for HLD.-No logs were maintained.The operator was advised to acquire a high-level disinfectant and the relevant test strips.

- -Please establish written procedures and have them present on site for certain tasks such as: cleansing of the skin prior to service, accidental cuts procedures, post service care, etc.
- 10. Is cleansing and antisepsis of skin and mucous membrane performed in accordance to written procedures and are suitable products being used?
- The operator was not using a cleanser prior to waxing and was not using an antiseptic on the skin prior to using a double-loop comodone extractor.The operator was advised to follow steps for preparation of skin prior to waxing and facial extractions.
