      • -A high-level disinfectant is required for semi-critical re-usable esthetics tools such as facial extractors.-No test indicator strips were available for HLD.-No logs were maintained.The operator was advised to acquire a high-level disinfectant and the relevant test strips.

      • - Work surface areas for contaminated equipment and/or cleaned equipment are not adequate. Ensure that adequate counter space is available for: the storage of unclean equipment and drying/disinfection of clean equipment.

      • The operator was not using a cleanser prior to waxing and was not using an antiseptic on the skin prior to using a double-loop comodone extractor.The operator was advised to follow steps for preparation of skin prior to waxing and facial extractions.
