      • ** Pre-Kinder - the finish on the black desk in the room was wearing. Please refinish or replace.** OSC/Kinder - the wood on the shelf for the cubbies and wood behind the hooks was not finished. Please ensure wood is finished so that the surface is smooth and cleanable.

      • ** Pre-Kinder - A small spray bottle was observed int he room with no label. Pleas ensure spray bottles are labelled with their contents.
    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • ** Infant room - children's hands were not being washed after diapering, only wiped with a wet wipe. Pleas ensure children's hands are being washed thoroughly with soap and water after diapering.** Older toddler room - diapering change pad was observed without a hand sink. Please remove from use.** Infant room - the base of the seat of the wooden infant high chairs was wearing and wood was exposed. This surface is required to be smooth and easily cleanable.

      • ** OSC #2 - Water damage and mould growth was observed on the ceiling tile in the girls washroom. Please ensure that there is no leak and that the ceiling tile is replaced.** OSC #2 - flooring was uneven and had holes in various locations throughout. Some holes were patched but flooring was uneven and difficult to clean.

      • ** Preschool room - there was duct tape in disrepair on the door to the bathroom. This cannot be easily cleaned. Please remove and replace.** Pre-Kinder - the finish on the black desk in the room was wearing. Please refinish or replace.** Kinder #2 - the finish on the brown shelf was in disrepair. Refinishing or replacement required.** OSC #1 - the wood on the shelf for the cubbies and wood behind the hooks was not finished. Please wood is finished so that the surface is smooth and cleanable.** OSC #2 - holes were present in the leather couch. Repair or replacement required.

      • ** OSC #1 - the water temperature at the hand sinks in the room were measured to be approx. 20C which is too low. Please ensure hot and cold potable water is available at all hand sinks.

      • ** Kinder #2 - the boys toilet was not operational according to staff. Repair required.
    • 30. Are workers washing hands when appropriate and/or in a proper manner?
      • ** Infant room - hand washing was not observed by staff after diapering. Staff was observed wearing gloves and not hand washing or changing gloves between children.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • ** OSC #2 - cleaning cloths were observed on the counter. Please ensure a clean and dirty laundry bin is available for cloths so that they are used only for single use.

    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • The cabinets under the sinks in the OSC 1 & OSC 2 rooms contained hazardous chemicals and were left unlocked. Upon request, these cabinets were re-locked. Please ensure all hazards are inaccessible to the children.
    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • An area of the wall behind the door is damaged in the bathroom which connects the toddler and preschool room. Please have this area repaired so it is easily cleanable.
    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • There is no soap and paper towel in the girls washroom in the kinder room. Please ensure all handwashing sinks are equipped with soap and paper towel.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • The bleach-water spray bottle on the entry-side of the toddler room was measured at 50ppm chlorine. Please ensure all bleach disinfectants are maintained at a minimum concentration of 100ppm.
