      • Trays inside the UV cabinet - for cleaned tool storage, were observed to be dusty.- Ensure the tools are stored in cleaned containers only. Clean the trays.
    • 18. Is reusable equipment cleaned properly (Non-Critical)?
      • A loofah was being used instead of a cleaning brush for the basin.- Ensure a proper cleaning brush is obtained to clean the basin.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • "Reoccurred violations on June 08, 2026"There is a container filled with alcohol at the hand wash sink that is being used to disinfect manicure and pedicure tools.Do not use alcohol as a disinfectant as it is not a proper disinfectant. Replace with Preempt CS20 and fill the container full so all manicure and pedicure tools are fully covered.June 08, 2026A bottle of CS20 was purchased during inspection. - Ensure all the tools are disinfected before use.- Designate the back sink for tool reprocessing - Post a step by step instruction on how to clean and disinfect the tools at the tool reprocessing sink.

      • The basin was not disinfected after cleaning.- Ensure a minimum of a low-level disinfectant solution was sprayed after cleaning.
    • 24. Are waste sharps disposed of properly?
      • The sharp container was over filled with used callus blade stored on the lid.- Educated on the maximum fill line, and immediately dispose of the container safety (ie, local pharmacy or any other sharp container dispose site.).

      • 1. There are used files/buffers at the manicure stations.2. There is a used sanding band on the nail drill bit at the manicure station.1. and 2. All single-use items must be thrown away after each use. Do not reuse.
    • 17. Is reusable equipment cleaned properly (Critical)?
      • There is a unclean container that is filled with metal nail drill bits that are dusty.Clean and disinfect the container along with all the metal nail drill bits. The metal nail drill bits must be placed in an area or container that will keep them protected from contamination, dust, and debris.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • There is a container filled with alcohol at the hand wash sink that is being used to disinfect manicure and pedicure tools.Do not use alcohol as a disinfectant as it is not a proper disinfectant. Replace with Preempt CS20 and fill the container full so all manicure and pedicure tools are fully covered.
    • 27. Is the facility maintained in a visibly clean state and are environmental surfaces cleaned and disinfected properly?
      • There is a build up of dust and debris at the manicure stations and within the drawers. The tinfoil lining the tables are also unclean and have a build up of dust and debris.Replace the tinfoil and clean and disinfect the manicure stations on a daily basis or as often as needed.
