- When staff were interviewed, they were not aware of the employee sickness policy. The operator/manager was not present on site at the time of inspection. The operator was contacted offsite and was requested to provide the policy. Although a staff sickness policy existed, the policy itself was broad and general in scope.Requirement:Ensure a comprehensive written employee sickness policy is in place and that all staff are aware of and understand the policy. Staff must be aware of when to report symptoms and when they must be excluded from work. For guidance of detailed sickness policy and illness exclusion requirements, please refer to the Food Retail and Foodservices Code (Alberta).

- There was no paper towel dispenser at the handwash sink.

- The handwash sink for the cooking line was blocked by an open door.-the handwash sink must be accessible at all times. This handwash location is not convenient and can be changed in the future if staff are not using it.**for future locations, handwash sink must be in the food handling/cooking areas.

- Pocket door was noted on the plans, but was not installed. A regular door was installed, and when it is open, completely blocks the handwash sink-plans were not reviewed by AHS prior to the approval inspection. -Ensure plans are circulated to AHS for all future builds.
