- Observation: The door of the walk-in freezer cannot seal completely when closed. Ice was built up around the door. (Public Health Significance) - any openings in the freezer will lead to temperature loss, potentially leading to increased internal temperature and causing temperature abuse.
- Corrective Action: Operator already notified the maintenance to repair the gasket. Operator to ensure the equipment are in good working order at all times.
- 305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)]
- Observation: The back door does not seal properly, leaving a noticeable gap between the door and the frame. (Public health significance) - any gaps in door would facilitate the entry of pest, potentially resulting in food contamination.
- Corrective Action: Operator to repair and replace the weathering strips. Operator to ensure the door can properly seal when closed at all times.
