      • Observation(s): Diaper creams, labelled 'keep out of reach of children' were stored in a space that children might be able to access. The creams were moved during the inspection to a location out of the children's reach. No further action is necessary regarding this item.

      • Observation(s): The outdoor play structure exceeds 3'. Supervision policies need to include information that indicates children under the age of 3 years will not have access to the structure. Email received with revised policy prior to completion of the inspection report- This item is considered corrected.

      • Observation(s): Two electrical outlets were uncovered today The shelf unit downstairs needs to be affixed to the wall. A statement indicating children under the age of three will not be permitted access to the outdoor play structure is required. Email with images of corrections and play structure statement received prior to completion of the inspection report- This item is considered corrected.

    • C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?
      • Observation(s): Observation: Licensee has a variety of checklists that record, fire drills, fire extinguisher checks, radon level checks, play space inspection checks, and a file for minor injuries/incidents/unexpected events. all appeared to be complete and updated regularly. Children's files were reviewed and are complete. Infraction: At time of Licensing Officer's (LO) arrival, There were 6 children in attendance today. 4 children were signed in. The sign out times from the previous day were missing. Licensee immediately corrected the times. A discussion occurred regarding the regulation for recording sign in and out times. The legislation does not indicate who should record the sign in and out times. If the Licensee completes the in/out times when a parent forgets, this still meets the intent of the Child Care Licensing Regulation. Ensure that your 12 year old is included in the attendance sheets. This item is considered as resolved.

      • Observation(s): Some Christmas light cords were hanging down in a fashion similar to blind cords, which may pose a strangulation hazard. - Corrected during inspection. The salt used to melt the ice on the stairs states "Keep out of reach of children" - Removed prior to LO leaving facility.
