      • Semi-critical equipment for eye lash services are not being disinfected properly using a High Level Disinfectant. No HDL on site.Ensure to obtain a HDL, test strips and proof of test and recording.
    • 21. Is equipment that is intended to be sterile maintained sterile at the point of use?
      • Needles for the permanent make-up observed to have a sterility date, and expiry date however no lot number identified in the event of a recall. You may be able to use these needles if you can show AHS a lot number or identifier on the needles.Microneedling needle are not suffice.
    • 30. Is the reprocessing area of a personal service facility that uses reusable equipment properly designed, managed and maintained to ensure the safety of clients?
      • Please obtain a work surface area in the reprocessing sink that will allow space for tools to be cleaned.Work surface area must be impervious to moisture and easily cleanable.
