- 17. Does the pool have adequate written policies, plans and posted rules and safety information to ensure that the pool is operating in a safe manner?
- Jet pump flow rate may be exceeding the flow rate for the outlet covers. A flow meter is not installed to confirm the actual flow rate. The total combined flow rate (recirculation + jets) must not exceed the flow rate on the outlet covers to prevent entanglement or entrapment. During inspection, the jet pump was turned off to ensure the flow does not exceed the cover rating.*Install a flow meter as per manufacturer's installation instructions on the jet pump recirculation system.*Ensure total combined flow rate does not exceed the flow rate on the outlet covers.
