      • 1. Electrical sockets with covers observed in Firefly classroom and gym area.-Please provide with appropriate covers for the sockets to prevent electrical hazards.2. Long, tangling wires observed in Rainbow room.-Please properly secure all cords and keep them out of children's reach to prevent entanglement and tripping hazards.

      • 1. Damaged, chipped, and peeling paint was observed on the washroom walls used by the Sunshine and Rainbow classrooms.-Please repair and repaint the affected walls to ensure they are maintained in good condition and are smooth and easily cleanable.2. Uneven surfaces were observed on the floor in the Rainbow classroom.-Please repair the flooring to provide a smooth, level surface and reduce the risk of tripping injuries.

      • 1. A chair with peeling leather cover was observed in the Sunshine classroom.-Please repair or replace the chair to ensure it has a smooth, non-absorbent, and easily cleanable surface.2. Chairs with worn fabric upholstery, as well as peeling paint on chairs, tables, and shelves, were observed in the Out of School Care area.-Please repair or replace the damaged furnishings and repaint affected surfaces to ensure they are smooth, non-absorbent, and easy to clean and maintain.

      • 1000 ppm of bleach solution was observed being used as surface and equipment sanitizer in daycare classrooms.-Please dilute and use 100 ppm of bleach as classroom surface sanitizer. Ensure daily verification of concentration with suitable test strip.*If 1000 ppm of bleach solution is used then a post clean is required.To prepare a 100 ppm (parts per million) chlorine sanitizing solution, mix 1/2 teaspoon of standard household bleach (5% to 6% sodium hypochlorite) into 1 liter of water.

Additionally, increase and maintain the hot water temperature between 38°C and 43°C to support proper handwashing practices.2. The washroom located opposite the kitchen had a noticeable odour at the time of inspection.- Please consult a plumbing expert to assess and ensure the plumbing system is in good repair.

      • Children water bottles without name tags were observed in some classrooms.-Please label all water bottles with children names to prevent misuse.

      • Paper towels were observed being kept in open baskets in washrooms and diapering stations.-Please provide appropriate paper dispensers in the indicated areas to prevent bulk contamination.

      • 1. Low water pressure was observed in some of the washroom faucets. The hot water temperature was measured at 20°C.- Please consult a plumbing company to ensure adequate water pressure. Additionally, increase and maintain the hot water temperature between 38°C and 43°C to support proper handwashing practices.2. The washroom located opposite the kitchen had a noticeable odour at the time of inspection.- Please consult a plumbing expert to assess and ensure the plumbing system is in good repair.
