    • 17. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Critical)?
      • It was noted that the Buckeye Quat's sanitizer is being used for surfaces. The concentration of both spray bottles in each room was <200 ppm. The wall sanitizer was tested and measured 400 ppm. Discussed discarding and preparing sanitizer solutions more frequently. Staff state that they discard sanitizer every 1-2 days. Discussed purchasing Quat's test strips to measure sanitizer solution in both rooms. Site does use Bleach in the evident of a GI outbreak.

      • The sanitizing step is missing in the weekly toys cleaning schedule.Please ensure that toys are sanitized after washing & rinsing and that they are submerged in the sanitizer for 2 minutes before air drying.
