    • 09. Is the pool premises maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, good repair and are temperatures being properly regulated?
      • The tile surfacing in the women's changeroom and on the stairway leading to the pool deck had a build-up of algae and hard water stains. Build-up noted along the edges in hard-to-reach areas (likely missed during routine cleaning). The change table in the women's changeroom was visibly dirty. The bottom of the water slide where it meets the pool deck was rusting and staining the pool deck. The ceiling was leaking at the entrance to the women's change room outside of the mechanical room.
    • 11. Does the pool premises have adequate written policies, plans and posted rules and safety information to ensure that the pool is operating in a safe manner?
      • Water contamination response records reviewed. Overall, contamination logs are complete. One record (December 21, 2024) discrepancy between the type of contamination (loose fecal) and response recorded (50 min at 1.1ppm free chlorine). Contact time no sufficient. Ensure staff are familiar with the correct protocols.

      • Pool permit was not posted.
    • 10. Are proper testing, monitoring, and other records being properly maintained?
      • Daily visual checks of the main drain covers and temperature check of Sauna were not recorded daily. Ensure the main drain covers are checked daily visually and monitor the sauna temperature and maintain the records.
