    • 19(1)(e) A food establishment must be located, designed, constructed and maintained to ensure all of the following: (e) that there is effective protection to prevent the access and sheltering of insects, rodents and other pests.
      • Repair or replace the door sweep for the receiving door in the kitchen.
    • 29(2)(b) A maintenance, cleaning and sanitation program must include procedures to ensure that all of the following are done: (b) insects, rodents and other pests are controlled;
      • The floors throughout the kitchen must be cleaned to remove food debris. Clean beneath and behind equipment in the kitchen, under the dry storage racks, and on the wall beside the dry storage racks. Removing food debris will help to control rodents. Clean the rodent droppings from the floor in the staff area. Clean rodent harbourage and rodent droppings from inside of the utility room by the receiving door in the kitchen.

      • The floors throughout the kitchen must be cleaned to remove food debris.
