      • Written procedures were completed on-site as needed.
    • 13. Is single-use or uncleanable equipment being used as intended (Critical)?
      • There was a waxing stick applicator in the waxing pot. Please remove sticks from the pot and do not store waxing sticks in the pot. Please do not double dip in the waxing pot. Ensure the waxing pot is maintained in a clean condition and the lid remains closed to prevent contamination with hair.
    • 27. Is the facility maintained in a visibly clean state and are environmental surfaces cleaned and disinfected properly?
      • There was a build-up of hair and/or wax on the waxing pots and there was visible hair debris in the wax. Replace the wax and clean the waxing container. Ensure staff are not double dipping and closing the lid after use.There was a buildup of hair debris within the drawers where staff keep their electric hair clipper blade covers. Clean the drawers and ensure areas are kept clean on an as needed basis.
