- Observation(s): Refrigerator monitoring records indicate temperatures above food safe levels. It is unknown if, or what action was taken in response to these temperatures. The facility and food services management began planning follow up measures during this inspection.

- Observation(s): The employee package/check list does not include orientation to the Regulations and Act.

- Observation(s): September 26, 2016 -It was noted that the facility's policy for the safe storage and application of a wound care product was not followed as Iodine Swab-sticks were noted to be accessible to persons in care. -Several policies, and the complaints process were reviewed during the inspection. The Manager reported that a plan is in place to keep a record of the facility's responses to complaints in one location.

- Observation(s): September 26, 2016 -It was noted that the facility's system for ensuring the safe storage of medication was ineffective as prescription treatment cream in one resident's room was accessible to persons in care. RCR 69(3)(1) - A licensee must ensure that all medications in the community care facility are safely and securely stored.
