- Tweezers intended for use in eyelash services were indicated to be disinfected using an alcohol-based solution not registered in Canada as a disinfectant. Tools used in services which are performed near the eyes are considered semi-critical, and must therefore be disinfected using a high-level disinfectant. Acquire suitable high-level disinfectant, and ensure that all manufacturer instructions for its use are followed.

- A suitable reprocessing area is not available for the cleaning of reusable equipment requiring disinfection, as the only sinks available for use are located in bathrooms or are otherwise unsuitable for use (i.e., a kitchen sink).If intending to use reusable semi-critical equipment, ensure that a reprocessing area with a dedicated sink is available for use.
