    • C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?
      • Observation(s): LO observed climbing equipment in outdoor play area made of wooden pallets. There appeared to be splintered wood on some of the pieces. Equipment was climbable and appeared over 5 feet in height. LO discussed concerns regarding the risk of children falling off equipment as there are no side rails installed or appropriate impact absorbent surfacing. LO also provided licensee with information on surfacing and outdoor play Director of Licensing Standards and requested a plan for ensuring children's safety while using climbing wooden pallet structures.
      • C7.1T - Ensure equipment for toddlers is no more than .9 meters (three feet) in height; Director of Licensing Standards of Practice-Safe Play Space
