      • A personal cup was left on a food preparing surface. The cup was promptly removed and surface was sanitized by the operator.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • The thermometer inside the fridge, located below the display shelf of alcoholic drinks, was showing a temperature above 4°C. A carton of milk inside the fridge was measured at a temperature below 4°C. The operator stated that the milk had just been placed in the fridge and was promptly moved to a different fridge where the temperature was below 4°C.The operator suggested that the higher temperature was likely due to the fridge door being opened frequently during the lunch rush, and they promptly dialed down the temperature.Please ensure perishable food is not placed in the fridge until the temperature drops below 4°C.

      • Sanitizer bucket measured 50-100 ppm Quats. The operator instructed staff to change out the solutions for all sanitizer buckets.

      • Cleaning cloths were being left on counter tops after use. The operator prepared sanitizer buckets with Quats solution and placed cleaning cloths in them. Ensure reusable cloths are placed in sanitizer solution between use.
