- * Non-critical equipment is not being adequately cleaned and disinfected:-Barbicide was cloudy and had hair; ensure manufacturer’s instructions are followed. Barbicide needs to be replaced daily. All tools disinfected in Barbicide need to first be cleaned with soap and water.
- 26. Are cosmetic products appropriate for their intended use and being handled properly?
- -There was an applicator stick stored in the wax and the rim of the pot was covered in hair. This could lead to the contamination of the bulk supply. Please ensure that the wax is stored away from hair services and that the applicator stick is only dipped once and then disposed of.
