      • -The classroom blinds were torn and had a string hanging from them. Please remove the string and repair the blinds. The string is a potential strangulation hazard.

      • - The electrical box with the “high voltage” sign in the back room did not have a lock. Please secure this area to prevent access to children.- Multiple electric outlet plug covers were missing. Please replace.- The furnace room was left open. Please keep locked to prevent children’s access.

      • -For the washroom closest to the storage room:*There was a loose ceiling tile. Please secure.*Sealant was coming loose on the countertop. Please replace sealant to prevent water an mould damage.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • -The weekly cleaning log was not being regularly filled out. Please ensure it is filled out.
    • 20. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Non-Critical)?
      • -There was a container with dirt. Did not see the packaging. Please check the packaging to ensure there are no chemical additives. Ensure the container has a lid when not in use.
    • 21. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Critical)?
      • -There was no warm water at the washroom sink. Please ensure both warm and cold water are available.

      • Personal items of the children were not being kept distinctly seperate from each other. On the coat racks on wheels I observed backpacks on top of each and jackets not being seperate.
