- 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
- Chlorine test strips were not available. The facility is using chlorine (bleach) sanitizer solution to sanitize food contact surfaces and food equipment and utensils. Chlorine test strips are required to confirm the concentration of the bleach sanitizer solution. Obtain chlorine test strips.
- 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
- 1. There was a gap on the bottom right of the side exit door in the front area. 2. There was a gap on the bottom of the back exit door. All entry points to the food establishment must be tightly fitted to prevent the entry of pests. Seal the gap by installing weatherstripping or a door sweep.
