- A paper towel dispenser was missing from the back staff washroom.REQURIEMENT: Install a proper dispenser which contains paper towel.
- 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
- 1) The back door had missing weather stripping, which created a gap at the bottom corner and could facilitate pest entry into the kitchen.REQUIREMENT: Repair the door - ensure there are no gaps which could allow pests (such as mice) to enter.2) Mouse droppings were identified in several areas of the back kitchen area. It is unknown how long these droppings were there for, as they were found in disorganized, hard-to-clean areas.Droppings were cleaned during the inspection. Monitor for ongoing signs of infestation.
