- - Stop preparing food in the new prep room and switch to an area where there is a handwashing sink. - Install a handwashing sink in the food prep room in the back if facility wants to prepare food in this room. In accordance with Section 2.14 of the NS Food Retail and Food Services Code, you must provide at least one hand washing station in each food preparation area.
