- 23(1)(a) All equipment and utensils used to process, prepare, store, serve, sell or display food must be designed, constructed, installed and maintained to

- One of the two sandwich stations is non functional currently. It is not in use. You must keep all equipment in good repair in a food establishment. Repair or remove the sandwich station from the facility.
- 33(1) An operator must ensure that the temperature of food is controlled so that the food does not deteriorate or become inedible or unsafe.
- The vanilla mixture in the frosty machine was measured at 7 degrees Celsius at the time of the inspection. Remove the frosty machine from service, clean and sanitize the machine, and only serve frosties to the public when the machine is able to maintain a temperature of 4 degrees Celsius or lower.

- The Chocolate hopper for the frost machine was at approximately 12 degrees Celsius at the time of the inspection. Remove the frosty machine from service, clean and sanitize the machine, and only serve frosties to the public when the machine is demonstrated to be able to maintain safe refrigeration temperatures.

- 19(1)(e) A food establishment must be located, designed, constructed and maintained to ensure all of the following:
(e) that there is effective protection to prevent the access and sheltering of insects, rodents and other pests.
- In accordance with Section 2.17 of the NS Food Retail and Food Services Code, you must ensure exterior openings are protected against the entry of pests. Install door sweeps on the back door and on the walk-in refrigerator door to close gaps. Ensure recommendations made by pest control operator are followed.
