    • 14. Is single-use or uncleanable equipment being used as intended (Non-Critical)?
      • Some used sponges observed in the front drawers - must be discarded immediately after use.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • CS20 high level disinfectant used for disinfecting reusable instruments. However, product expired on January 16, 2024. Must purchase new disinfectant immediately.Bowl used for pouring disinfectant/submerging instruments is too shallow and wide. Impractical for use as it requires larger amount of chemical to ensure instruments are completely submerged. Must purchase proper container with a lid that is designed for this purposes.
    • 27. Is the facility maintained in a visibly clean state and are environmental surfaces cleaned and disinfected properly?
      • Manicure station - nail dust observed inside the drawers and on the wall/ledge behind the workers chairs. Some reusable low risk instruments were mixed up and require sorting out and keep clean separated from dirty.Some debris/sand noted on the floor in the corners.Please ensure manicure stations are thoroughly cleaned and maintained clean going forward. Stations must be wiped with disinfectant between each client.Nail drying machines wrapped up with plastic foil. there was some build up on the plastic foils which need to be replaced.
