      • Debris found on some metal tools in UV sterilizer. - Ensure that tools are cleaned thoroughly after each use. Tools must be visually inspected before disinfection. Debris found on fans in pedicure tubs. - Ensure that fans are cleaned thoroughly after each use. The fans must be visually inspected before disinfection.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • One bottle of PreEMPT CS20 was expired. Some tools are being only sprayed with CS20 instead of immersing them in the solution. Metal drill bits are being disinfected in alcohol without a DIN#. - Use an approved disinfectant with a DIN# and instructions for use.Lysol Cleaner - Simply - Orange Blossom is being used for disinfecting of pedicure tubs.- Obtain an adequate disinfectant with a DIN# for disinfecting pedicure tubs.

      • Using PreEMPT CS20 (tool disinfectant) for surface disinfection. - Use disinfectants according to the manufacture instructions. Large scale buildup on sinks. Clean regularly. Surface in the UV lamps on manicure stations were dirty. - Clean regularly.Debris accumulation in hard-to-reach areas on the floor. - Clean regularly.

    • 17. Is reusable equipment cleaned properly (Critical)?
      • There were some manicure and pedicure tools that had a build up of debris between the crevices.Please ensure all manicure and pedicure tools are thoroughly cleaned with soap and water using a scrub brush before they are rinsed and dried.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • The bottle of Preempt CS20 was expired.Please replace the Preempt CS20 with a new bottle. All manicure and pedicure tools must be cleaned with soap and water first, dried, then fully soaked in the disinfectant solution (CS20).
