      • No pest control report available. Operator stated the pest control company came last year and operator used chemical bait also.-Ensure monthly pest control service/check is done.-Do not use chemical bait without professional service.-Pest control checklist emailed to operator

Juvenile cockroaches and dead mouse observed in glue traps behind refrigeration unitsUpdate, January 6, 2025:Last pest control service was in November 2024. Moderate cockroach activity noted on pest control report. Dead mouse observed under wire shelving. Mouse droppings observed in cupboard under front service counterEnlist in the services of a professional pest control company to address pest issues.

    • 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
      • Used cleaning cloths were kept on the counter.Sanitizing bucket was not available.Sanitizing bucket was prepared at 100ppm and cleaning cloths were kept therein.Cleaning cloths should be frequently cleaned and when not in use kept in a sanitizing solution at the required concentration to prevent the growth of harmful microorganisms.
    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • Condensed milk was stored on the counter at room temperature (24°C).Condensed milk was promptly discarded.
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • Expired permit was displayed.The operator displayed the valid permit. Evidence of the displayed valid permit was sent to the health inspector via email.
