      • Staff is re-using cloth towels for drying hands in waxing room. - Use only single use towels for drying hands to prevent cross-contamination.

      • 1. Found used single-use buffers in manicure stations. - Do not reuse single-use items on different clients. - Discard after each use.

      • 1. Debris accumulation found on already cleaned foot paddles. Nail pieces were floating in alcohol. - Thoroughly clean all reusable tools after each use. - Inspect tools for cleanliness before disinfecting them.

      • 1. Unapproved disinfectant, alcohol, is being used again for disinfecting semi-critical tools such as nail clippers, nippers, etc. - Use only disinfectants with DIN# and claim for use. - A high-level disinfectant PreEMPT CS20 was on site but not being used. - Disinfect all the tools again in a high level disinfectant.- Change the high level disinfect daily or test disinfect concentration with test papers when reusing for multiple days. * Further action will be taken if this violation repeats again*

Staff is again cleaning/disinfecting and storing semi-critical tools in staff/client washroom. - Remove all tools and disinfectants from the washroom immediately. -Do not clean and disinfectant tools in the washroom as this is not a sanitary area. - Designate the front sink for reprocessing. * Further action will be taken if this violation repeats again*

      • 1. There were spray bottles with different chemicals thought the facility. - Label chemical spray bottles with it's content to prevent misuse.
