      • **OUTSTANDING**:1. A mobile sink was being used to reprocess semi-critical and critical equipment.COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING:1. Ensure that only non-critical equipment is reprocessed in a mobile sink. 2. Microdermabrasion diamond head piece is classified as semi-critical equipment and can only be reprocessed in a permanently plumbed in sink. Use single use microdermabrasion head pieces, or pause services until a sink can be installed.

      • Micro-needling heads were being reprocessed for re-use.Discard used micro-needling heads. Ensure that tools that are categorized as single-use are not reprocessed or reused.

      • Comedone extractors were being disinfected with an intermediate level disinfectant (Preempt RTU). There was no high-level disinfectant onsite.Semi-critical equipment must be disinfected with a high level disinfected.

      • Sterility of micro-needling heads could not be verified.Records for proof of sterility must be maintained for sterile equipment.
