      • No sanitizer was detected at glass level during the final rinse of the new bar glasswasher. The jug of chlorine sanitizer connected to the machine appeared to be colorless suggesting that the sanitizer strength had depleted. Staff replaced the jug of sanitizer, the glasswasher was primed, and subsequently 100 ppm chlorine was detected at glass level during the final rinse cycle.

      • Deep Freezer lid in disrepair. Schedule a repair or replacement.

      • Noted again October 11, 2024. Cease using garbage bags for food storage as they contain a chemical for odor suppression that can leach into foods.       • There was no sanitizer detected at the glass washer in the bar during the final rinse cycle. A new pail of sanitizer was connected to the machine, and the operator will place a call to have the machine serviced to ensure it is dispensing 100 ppm chlorine during the final rinse.

      • Kitchen staff reported not using a sanitizing solution on food contact surfaces in the kitchen. Bar staff reported mixing soap with bleach to prepare the solution used to wipe counters and tables in the bar- **do not mix soap with bleach as it renders the bleach ineffective. Use 1/2 teaspoon regular, unscented bleach per litre of water to prepare a 100 ppm chlorine sanitizing solution for use on food contact surfaces.
