      • Observation(s): Observations: Licence, and Manager name posted, no changes to the structure or operation of the facility. Contravention It is a requirement that any Educator or Assistant Certificate be displayed in a prominent place. Manager posted Assistant certificate immediately. This item was corrected during the inspection.

    • C3.2 - Are persons qualified and appropriately replaced?
      • Observation(s): It is a requirement that ECE and Assistant certificates be validated. The FLO guided the Manager to the ECE registry website and provided education on how to verify the certificate. The Assistant's certificate was verified at the time of the inspection. This item is considered as "CDI" - corrected during inspection.
      • C3.2A - A person employed as an educator or an assistant must hold a certificate issued under Division 2; 19( 4 )(a)

    • C6.1 - Are acceptable hygiene practices maintained?
      • Observation(s): Observation : LO observed good health and hygiene practices. Manger ensured children washed hands prior to snack. Infraction: LO observed Manager sanitizing the table before snack with an orange oil cleaner. When the label was reviewed the product was a cleaner and was missing any disinfection properties. Manger stated she would switch to bleach - This item is considered as resolved.
