Pests carry and harbour diseases that can lead to serious illnesses. (2) Shelves in the side by side refrigerator have a build up of grime and require a clean and sanitizing step. (Public Health Significance): Grime build up in the facility, whether in the refrigerator or elsewhere is a pest attractant (food source). Pests carry and harbour diseases that can lead to serious illnesses.
      • Corrective Action: (1) Clean the fume hood to remove the build up of grease in the fume hood. (2) Clean and sanitize the shelves in the refrigerator.
