      • Observation(s): F2.3A - The dishwasher was run several times, but the temperature did not reach 71 °C at the dish surface. The operator is to obtain a waterproof dishwasher thermometer, run the dishwasher, and confirm that a temperature of 71 °C is achieved at the dish surface. If this temperature cannot be reached, perform the necessary repairs. F2.3D - No surface sanitizer was available. To eliminate pathogens on food contact surfaces, an approved sanitizer must be used (e.g., chlorine solution: 100 - 200 ppm, quaternary ammonium compounds: 200 ppm, or accelerated hydrogen peroxide: 500 ppm). Obtain and use an approved sanitizer for all food contact surfaces and verify the concentration using test strips.
      • F2.3A Mechanical dishwasher/glasswasher must provide sufficient washing and sanitizing action to remove contamination.
      • F2.3D Sanitizer solution must be available and kept at the correct levels for adequate sanitizing action.

      • Observation(s): Lights in the kitchen did not have shatterproof covers. Fragments of glass may contaminate food and food contact surfaces if a light were to shatter. Install shatterproof covers on all lights.
      • F2.5J Artificial lighting must have shatterproof covers or shatterproof bulbs.

    What a fun venue. We were 2 couples travelling through Revelstoke and ended up doing Kareoke until the small hours. The woman running it, Stacey, was so welcoming and entertaining. It was really busy with both locals and tourists, young and young at heart enjoying some singing.

    The bargain basement is hands down one of the best fundraisers for our local Legion - not only does it help eliminate unnecessary waste by allowing people to make donations during Covid, but also is full of amazing finds! With frequent sales ($2 or $3 dollar bags of clothing) it's the perfect place for anyone who is price conscious or wanting to get quality clothing/goods without having to spend big bucks buying brand new! The ladies that run the bargain basement are always so friendly and helpful, if you're ever after anything specific they do their best to help you out - all in all they encompass what it means to belong to a small town community
