- Observation(s): Some food items in the walk-in cooler were observed to be stored without a cover. Several food items in the dry storage area downstairs were also observed to be left uncovered/improperly covered. All food items must be stored properly with a secure lid to protect the food from contamination.
- F1.7A The operator must ensure that all food on the premises is protected from contamination.
- F2.5 Are the premises and equipment properly maintained and operated in a sanitary manner (i.e. ongoing maintenance)?
- Observation(s): 1. Some mouse droppings were observed in the downstairs supply storage/laundry area. No food items were noted to be stored within this area, but the mouse droppings must be cleaned and the area sanitized. Operator confirmed that a pest control company was hired - no signs of other pest activity noted at time of inspection. 2. Some sections of the floors and walls of the facility are worn and in need of repair.
