- 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
- The labelled bleach-water sanitizing solution in use did not have any detectable concentration of chlorine when initially tested using test strips.The existing solution was replaced at the time of the inspection and verified to be at the minimum strength of 100 ppm using the department test strips. An assortment of strips have been left for use by staff in the future - 100 ppm chlorine will turn the color of the strip to a medium purple as shown on the sample left behind on the counter.
