    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • QUAT sanitizer test papers are available but not used by food handlers to verify sanitizer concentration. Still unopened. Ensure QUAT sanitizer test papers are used daily to verify sanitizer concentration.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • Hand washing sink near the dishwasher: paper towel dispenser was empty; sink was used to store cleaning supply and door was kept open using a garbage bin which was blocking the sink. Ensure hand washing sink is adequately supplied with liquid soap and single use paper towel. Hand washing sink must be always accessible and never blocked or used for storage. Supervisor did not have keys to not open the paper towel dispenser. Replace the paper towel dispenser if cannot be opened to refill paper towels. In the meantime, keep paper towel in a container next to the sink.

      • Pest control monitoring records were not available on site for review. Ensure pest control monitoring records are kept on site or digitally accessible by supervisors.
    • 18. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this food facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Garbage bags were blocking fire exit doors (back storage area). Garbage was taken to the dumpster during inspection. Ensure doors are never blocked as it will be used for emergency egress.
    • 20. Do food handlers at the facility have adequate food safety training?
      • Food safety training requirements have not been met. No one on site has completed a food safety training course. Facility has more than 6 people working per shift. A food safety trained manager/supervisor must be on site per shift.Ensure Alberta food safety training requirements are met.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • Paper towel and liquid soap dispenser was dusty,It was cleaned during inspection.
